We're proud to showcase the speed, scale, and reach of our nitrogen-powered methane mitigation system through never-before-seen footage of our exclusive partnership with cryogenic equipment manufacturer Chart Industries.
The campaign follows the technology's journey from Chart's Ball Ground, Georgia manufacturing facility to thousands of oil and gas well sites across the US and Canada. Our system stores liquid nitrogen in a standalone tank and vaporizes it into clean, inert gas to power well site controls — with no moving parts, no maintenance, and no outside power required.
Each unit is built and delivered within eight weeks or less. Once installed, nitrogen replaces methane as the fuel source for pneumatic controls, immediately bringing vented emissions to zero.
"Methane venting is the most pressing emissions issue facing the oil and gas industry," said Dick Brown, President and CEO of Kathairos.
Together, we're addressing more than 400,000 US and Canadian facilities currently venting methane in routine operations.
