Birchcliff has been approved for Emissions Reduction Alberta's (ERA) Methane Reduction Deployment Program — and has selected Kathairos' nitrogen-based technology to power their methane reduction efforts under the program.
Funded through Alberta's TIER system, the deployment program covers up to 50% of eligible project costs (max $1M per project) to accelerate the deployment of commercial-ready methane mitigation technologies. The program runs until March 31, 2029, or until funds are exhausted.
Birchcliff's approval reflects exactly what the program intends: producers acting early, deploying proven solutions, and positioning themselves ahead of evolving regulatory requirements. We're honored to be part of it.
