Kathairos Solutions Wins the 2021 Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge

Kathairos has emerged as the leading North American solution for methane elimination from pneumatics, with more than 1,000 systems in operation across North America and over 40 major oil and gas producer partners.

Calgary, Alberta, October 22, 2021 —  On October 21, 2021, the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association announced Kathairos Solutions Inc. as the winner of the eighth annual Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge.

The Kathairos team advanced through an extensive preliminary vetting process and was invited to present directly to an international panel of judges along with 11 other finalists from across the world. Kathairos was awarded first prize at the competition.

“This is an incredible vote of confidence in the Kathairos technology,” said Dick Brown,  President and CEO of Kathairos Solutions, “It is an honour to be selected from such a strong pool of cutting-edge technologies.”

The Oil & Gas Cleanteach Challenge (OGCC) is now in its eight year and continues to connect clean technology solution providers with the world’s top energy companies, with the goal of meeting industry needs while simultaneously introducing clean technology solutions to the marketplace. It is held in partnership with internationally recognized industry leaders, including BPX Energy, Chevron, ConocoPhilips, Holland & Hart, Holzer Patel Drennan, ICEED, Ovintiv, as well as both the Colorado Energy Office and the Consulate General of Canada in Denver.
