When Kathairos began, our mission was clear but ambitious: to deliver a scalable, practical solution for eliminating methane emissions from oil and gas operations. In our early days, this meant taking a bold step into uncharted territory—working with industry partners to prove that a simple, safe, nitrogen-based system could transform methane venting at oil and gas facilities.
Three years later, what started as an idea in the field has scaled tremendously. Over 70 operators across North America now rely on Kathairos systems to reduce their emissions, protect their operations, and move confidently toward a lower-carbon future.
Being named a Rising Star Company finalist at Platts feels like a recognition of this journey—the late nights, the field trials, the partnerships built, and the unwavering belief that this industry can innovate in meaningful ways.
